MLB Players' Weekend has been a huge success with fans and players alike. So how could Nike improve upon this new tradition when they take over MLB uniforms in 2019? First, keep the nod to little league but with a more modern, clean design. And second, have even more fun with this already great promotion by adding nicknames to the front of the jersey.
Below I gave each team it's own jersey design that highlights an alternate or under-used color, as well as a unique team nickname across the front. Some old, some new, and some I completely made up for just this occasion.
